• The Syed Ammal Pasumai Padai has 10 laborers who have been writing throughout the year planting and maintaining the trees.
• We possess Tractors and Lorries in which water is carried to be provided the plants with.
• Moreover people of Ramnad show interest in maintaining the fencing to protect the saplings.
• During the month of late December, January and early February millions of caterpillars infest the trees. Pesticides are sprayed to kill the caterpillars.
• When speedy winds demolish the fencing our Pasumai Padai workers repair the same regularly.
• If the branches of the trees disturb the traffic or the E.B. Lines, Our Pasumai Padai workers prune the collector Municipal commissioner and E.B. Department of Ramnad
• Our Pasumai Padai co-ordinators inspect the trees and maintain them regularly.
• Illegal cutting of trees without the permission from municipality, PWD and the department of forests is informed to the Pasumai Padai co-ordinators. In this regard, our co-ordinators inform this to the officials and protect the trees.
